Mr. Meyer was born in Brooklyn, New York, and lives in Tampa. He earned his B.A. from UCLA, graduating with Honors, his J.D. from Whittier Law School, where he earned a Certificate in Intellectual Property, and an LL.M. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. He is bilingual in English and Spanish. His property damage work runs the full life of a claim: post loss obligations, sworn proofs of loss, examinations under oath, appraisal, the presuit notice process Florida law requires, the civil remedy notice process under Fla. Stat. § 624.155, and litigation when a carrier will not pay what the policy owes. Outside the office he rides dirt bikes and motorcycles, trains Brazilian jiu jitsu, and makes the Meyer Boys videos with his kids.
